Oh I see... So THIS Loki is NOT the same one we saw killed by Thanos in, Infinity War. & the fact that this is a "series" & not another MCU film, helps that make more sense. I guess. (I'm just glad they got Loki's actor to play the part again~)
This *is* the same Loki who got adopted by Odin, grew up with Thor, attacked New York on behalf of Thanos, etc etc. It's just a split timeline due to the fact Tony lost the Tessaract during the Time Heist in Endgame, and Loki grabbed it and vanished. So of course in this timeline things play out differently. Gamora from another timeline is present now in our "main" timeline and most probably will be in GOTG3(but she doesn't know any of the Guardians at all), so there's really no reason Loki can't join the main timeine in the future too.
